How it works
One lifecycle. Nine stages. No shortcuts.
The same controlled path applies to Spend Recovery and Commercial Recovery, so every value can be traced from a source record to a confirmed outcome.
Lifecycle
Connect to prevent
- 01
Connect
Secure, segregated intake of ledgers, contracts, project records and evidence.
- 02
Detect
Deterministic rules run against a versioned dataset and generate candidates.
- 03
Investigate
Analysts and task-specific agents assemble records, contract terms and evidence.
- 04
Validate
A human confirms the value, the basis and the evidence completeness.
- 05
Approve
Your authorised approver decides what may be pursued externally.
- 06
Pursue
Approved cases are issued to the counterparty with the calculation and evidence.
- 07
Resolve
Responses, disputes, negotiation and settlement are recorded in full.
- 08
Confirm
Recovery is only confirmed against cash, credits or documented reductions.
- 09
Prevent
Root causes become control actions with owners, dates and validation.
Metric dictionary
Value states that cannot be confused
Every dashboard, report and fee statement uses these definitions without exception.
- Identified value
- Potential exposure detected by rules or agents.
- Investigated value
- Value under active analyst review.
- Validated value
- Value supported by sufficient data and human review.
- Approved recovery value
- Value the customer has authorised Recovery Agent to pursue.
- Issued value
- Value formally submitted to the counterparty.
- Agreed value
- Value accepted by the counterparty or documented in an approved settlement.
- Confirmed recovery
- Cash, an applied credit, an accepted invoice reduction, a cancelled invoice or additional commercial payment supported by evidence.
- Avoided future leakage
- Estimated future value protected through a corrected process or control. Never included in confirmed recovery.
- Client net benefit
- Confirmed recovery less the Recovery Agent fee excluding VAT, unless the engagement terms specify a different definition.
Principles
Non-negotiable controls
- Human-led and agent-assisted.
- No external case is issued without human approval.
- No agent output is accepted without source evidence.
- Every value traces back to source records.
- Every calculation exposes its assumptions.
- Agents create findings and drafts, not final decisions.
- Original uploaded data remains unchanged; corrections create new versions.
- Every material action creates an audit entry.
- Counterparties are treated fairly and given an opportunity to respond.
- Private internal analysis is never exposed externally.
- Confirmed recovery requires evidence.
